Programme Overview

The ND in Pharmaceutical Technology trains students to assist in the production, quality control, storage, and dispensing of pharmaceutical and allied products. The programme combines theoretical instruction, laboratory practicals, industrial training, and project work, and is aligned with NBTE minimum standards for pharmaceutical technology education.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Requirement

The entry requirements into National Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology are as follows:-

  1. Four credit level passes in GCE “O” level, Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) at not more than two sittings. 

The four subjects must include:

Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology and any other subject plus at least passes in Physics and English Language

Jamb Requirement

English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology and any science subject

UTME score: 100

Graduation Requirements

  • Pass all prescribed courses across four semesters

  • Completion and defense of project work

  • Earn required NBTE credit units

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.00
