ND, Community Health
Programme Overview
The ND in Community Health Extension Worker programme is designed to train mid-level health personnel to provide basic preventive, promotive, and curative health services at the community level. The programme focuses on primary healthcare delivery, health education, community mobilization, and disease prevention, in line with NBTE and relevant health regulatory bodies.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Requirement
The entry requirements into National Diploma in Community Health Extension Worker are as follows:-
- Five credit level passes in GCE “O” level, Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) at not more than two sittings.
The five subjects must include:
English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
Jamb Requirement
English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
UTME score: 100
Graduation Requirements

Successful completion of all academic courses and practicals

Completion of supervised fieldwork and clinical postings
