ND, General Nursing Science
Programme Overview
The ND in General Nursing Science is a foundational professional programme designed to train students in patient care, basic nursing procedures, health ethics, and clinical skills. The programme integrates theoretical instruction with supervised clinical practice and prepares students for progression to the HND Nursing programme, in compliance with NBTE and NMCN standards.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Requirement
The entry requirements into ND/HND in Nursing Science are as follows:-
- Five credit level passes in GCE “O” level, Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) at not more than two sittings.
The five subjects must include:
English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
Note: NABTEB stands alone and cannot be combined with other results
Jamb Requirement
English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
UTME score: 150
Graduation Requirements

Completion of all prescribed academic and clinical courses

Successful completion of supervised clinical work experience

Pass all examinations and continuous assessments

Earn required NBTE credit units

Minimum CGPA of 2.00 (progression requires 2.50)
